2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
Vision: Soon after I accepted Jesus into my life I was diagnosed with cancer. It was a shock, my mind was numb. Wondering how I could get through radiation and chemo, losing my hair, weak, exhausted. My daughter Sabrina was 13 and I just was a loss for words. I remember coming home from chemo and i felt ok but a week later I couldn't even walk to the garage to get into my car. I looked at the Bible on my bed. It looked too big and the words were too small, my head was wide awake but my body wanted sleep. I was scared. Worried that devil would mess with my mind while I was taking all this meds. Then I heard Jesus in that quiet voice remind me of one verse.
"Never will I leave you never will I forsake you."
I took that verse and hung onto it for dear life. Like a life float in the midst of a tossing sea.
This one promise got me through the worst of times during medications. Every time I'd say it I felt his presence, his hand calming my head so I could rest. You don't forget things like this. You don't forget who chooses to stay with you in the storm. Jesus walks in & stays. I drew this picture during the cancer treatments to remind me to get up and fight because all of heaven is with me. Not to give up. Jesus, the Son of God is with me. Apply what God tells you in the battlefield! Dont second guess the Son of God!
I pray this encourages you in your walk. Life truly begins with Jesus I count everything else a loss.
